The Utah Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Coalition is requesting donations
The Utah Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Coalition is requesting donations from the community to help our Farmworkers. The MSFW Coalition is a group of agencies, companies, individuals, and volunteers that get together to coordinate services for low-income Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers throughout the State of Utah.
The Migrant Cherry Pickers Are Here!!!
Farmworkers are the poorest of the working poor, most Migrant Farmworkers earn less than $7,500 a year, and don’t receive assistance from any sources. We have more than 19,000 Farmworkers working in the state.
Many are sleeping in shacks in the orchards, and have some sever, immediate needs.
We are having a donation drive to try and take care of these needs:
We NEED:

Long Pants Without Holes
Work Boots
Socks
New Underwear
Blankets (New or Slightly Used)
Secondary Needs:
Insect Repellant
Non-perishable Food:

Dry Beans
Canned Food
Prepaid Gift Cards for Gas (Chevron has them)
Polorized Sunglasses
