Without Sin

Join local residents to discuss the book, which addresses serious issues concerning human trafficking, the sexual exploitation of children and immigration. Dear Red De Peruanos En Utah, First,a heartfelt wish from me to you-- may the Summer of 2013 bring you warmth, growth and cherished memories. To all of you who are graduating from high school or college, congratulations.  To all of the men who wear the title of Father as a badge of honor continue to do what you do with a sense of love and urgency… to paraphrase C.S. Lewis, "Fatherhood is at the core of the universe".  I am proud and humbled to tell you that Without Sin has been recognized by the California State Library and the California Center for the Book with the 2013 Book to Action award.  This is a variation on the traditional library book group—it offers participants not only the opportunity to collectively read and discuss a book and meet a book author, but also to put their newfound knowledge into action by engaging in a community service project or activity related to the book's topic.  I will be speaking with local residents at the Glen Avon Regional Library on Saturday August 26th along with members of the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Taskforce to educate residents on ways in which they can become involved to identify and combat human trafficking.  If you could join me in this important community dialogue, I would be much obliged.
