Trenton, NJ - Governor Chris Christie and Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno released the following statement today in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, which begins today and continues until October 15:



"As Hispanic Heritage Month begins, we pause to acknowledge the rich history, proud heritage, and positive impact of New Jersey's Hispanic community on our State. Their contributions to the public, private, and non-profit sectors demonstrate that our Hispanic residents represent a growing, vibrant community in the Garden State.



Throughout the month, we encourage residents to join us as we celebrate our state's diversity and the contributions of our Hispanic community."
