Dear Friends,
Warm greetings for the New Year to all.
This newsletter is a special invitation to participate in creating the new civilization by contributing to the Global Citizens Movement.
As we transition into 2012 Kosmos Journal will be transitioning as well into a more interactive website with valuable input from all our readers. We have visitors from 149 countries so we are sure to have rich and diversified perspectives from all of you.
We are developing a special section of our website now for essays from our readers on the main points of focus forKosmos, starting with Global Citizenship.
As you may know I am a member of the Coordinating Circle of The Widening Circle, which is catalyzing a global citizens movement. After over a year of telephone calls, we are very excited about gathering in March at the Tellus Institute for four days to share our ideas for the launch. We expect members from South Africa, Brazil, Canada, Bangladesh, Bangkok, and India. The core members have been engaged in global affairs as global citizens for many years.
I need your input for the benefit of all our readers, but also for this meeting, where your views and your story in your own words will be invaluable.
In 500 words or less please send us an essay on: What is a global citizen? What is a global citizen activist? What are you doing that indicates you are a global citizen? Please use the link below to submit your essay:
Voices of the People Submission Form
We look forward to your participation and a strong, courageous perspective on our responsibility as global citizens.
Warm regards,

Nancy
